I left my job at the grocery store because it was making me miserable. After 3 years, the last year me "training" for a supervisor position but never getting the promotion or the pay and shitty management and company rule changes finally did me in. So I left. I start around June 1st at the local humane society for animal admissions. (meaning I will be one of the people who does all the paperwork and brings in incoming animals/vaccinates them). I expect it to be hella sad at times, but so was the raptor center. I'm just happy to be working around animals again. Full time with benefits. I'll be working 4 ten hour shifts so I'll have 3 days o

I rarely draw anymore. I know I use to paint... but now I barely even sketch. I miss what my art was but I just... -can't- anymore. Such is life I guess. Maybe the muse will come back some day... maybe it won't. Right now though it's... just gone.

Same as before because of the cancer in my neck. You can remove the thyroid but apparently it's demons can grow back. I've been back to work for a week. I never make journals here. Hell I barely do anything but post some art here. BUT HEY, I'M STILL KICKING CANCERS ASS. Hopefully in March I'll be told I'm back in remission!

I should update journals here in case anyone cares. I LIVE, which I hope you noticed cause I draw art. Yes, now that I've fully healed from having all my upper teeth pulled I can once again eat most foods. I'm addicted to FlightRising still and spend a lot of time on FB and Livejournal.

I'm on my first full day of healing from having all those teeth removed, I still can't eat but everything looked good for my healing check. Just gotta stay on non-solids and keep my pain managed.
