Nimbus profile

So.. I'll attempt for my photo account not to be a spam my budgie haven but she is the cutest damn thing omg.
I let her out for some flight time (bathroom with all hazards removed and mirrors covered for her safety as she's still being tamed). She flew around a bit, stepped up onto a paintbrush for me a few times and hung out on her cage while I took photos.
She wouldn't step from the paintbrush to my hand but she's only been mine for 3 days so the fact she was riding around on the paintbrush and even rode it right into her cage when it was time to go home was amazing.

Nimbus is a rescue, born in 2011 according to her leg band. She was found last spring in Colorado (it's freezing here in the spring). After no one claimed her the rescue had her for a year, a few days ago I adopted her and brought her home with hopes to hand tame her and give her a wonderful life.
