Ever since she could walk Feathers loved birds and envied them and the Pegasus Ponies in Equestria. She would run below them closing her eyes and wishing she could fly alongside them.
Always intrigued by their wings and feathers, early in her age she started taking in injured birds and helping them heal before letting them free back into the wild. This quickly showed itself in her cutie-mark as her true talent. While she primarily works on injured birds Feathers will stop to help mend the wing of an injured Pegasus or Alicorn.
Her mane and tail is always messy, she spends more time caring and worrying about others than she does herself. As such her hair tends to look unkempt a lot.
